This policy applies to all purchases from funtranslate.com. Because translation work involves specialist time and preparation, refund eligibility depends on the project stage at the time of the request.
If you cancel before returning the intake form after purchase, you are eligible for a full refund minus a $45.00 administrative fee. Contact hello@funtranslate.com with your order information.
If you cancel after returning the intake form but before a translator is assigned and work begins, you are eligible for a 75% refund. The 25% covers intake review and project setup.
Once translation work is underway (translator assigned and actively working), a 50% refund is available. If more than 75% of the translation is complete, no refund is available.
No refund is available after the translated file is delivered. Your included revision rounds remain open to address accuracy concerns. If the delivered translation materially fails to meet the agreed scope, contact us within 7 days and we will correct it at no charge.
The express (24-hour) delivery add-on is non-refundable once the project is confirmed for express handling. If express delivery cannot be fulfilled due to unexpected circumstances, the add-on fee is refunded in full.
Scheduled consultation sessions are non-refundable if cancelled less than 12 hours before the session. Cancellations with more than 12 hours notice receive a full credit toward a rescheduled session.
If your actual word count is higher than the package purchased, we provide an adjusted quote before beginning work. If the adjusted total is not acceptable, you may cancel for a full refund at that point.
Email hello@funtranslate.com with your order number and reason. We process refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued via the original Stripe payment method and appear within 5 to 10 business days.
